I'm a junior in high school and my overall GPA is a 3.7

I'm taking two AP classes ( Biology and Human Geography) with economics/ american government, pre-calculus, and world literature honors.

If I got all A's how high do you think I can raise my GPA by the end of my junior year?

I also plan on attending Michigan State University so what extra activites would increase my chances of getting accepted? ( I do plan on joining more clubs)

  1. Your GPA is fine right now, for Michigan State. If you can get it higher, that's better, but if you do not, don't stress. A 3.7 is right in their range.

I wouldn't have you join any more clubs. It's already your junior year! Join some more clubs if you want to, but don't do it just to boost your applications, as that'll be pretty transparent. Instead, focus on the clubs that you're already in, and that you really like. Try to do something with some depth for at least one of those clubs. Run for office, or organize their fundraiser, or run one of their events. Things like that look great on a college application.

Think depth, not breadth, when it comes to extra curriculars. It's not how many you do. It's how well you do them.
