I have

A TV...On the back it has ONLY one place for Cable input...and Only ONE place for the red, yellow, and white wires

A VCR...On the back it has TWO places for the red, white, and yellow cables (Line out and Line In) and on the front it has ONE place for the red yellow and white cables (Line In)

A Playstation 2...That I have to be able to plug the red, yellow, white cables into something.

A surround sound kit with 5 speakers...That has 3 places for the red, yellow, and white wires (DVD, MP3, and Game)

A Divider where I can plug 4 sets of red, yellow, and white cables into and share them (It has Line in above three off the places and line out above one of them) and a dial on the front that I can turn to Line out 1, 2, or 3 and use one of them at a time (I think)

I need help

what else do I need

and what do I plug where

What wires or cabels do I need?

  1. I believe what you need is an AVR reciever.

  2. why arent you using scarts (black boxy connectors) ? a ps2 has the component (red white yellow) cable and usually a scart adapter. If you get everything hooked straight into the tv, test the sound, then use the audio (red and white components) to play throught the surround sound, its a bit convaluted but i am very confused by your question

  3. does your surround sound kit have a reciever, if so then run everything through the reciever if you have enough inputs. then output through the reciever to the tv. if not then you need to do what raidermike said. buy a reciever
