Me and my brother 12 and 16 years of age are in new zealand can we travel to the us (yes we are proud Americans!)

  1. It depends on the airline, but generally unaccompanied minors can only travel internationally if the flight is non-stop.  


  2. airlines have policies - generally they will let unaccompanied minors travel as long as an adult drops and picks them up at the airport - they are then escorted by the airline staff to and from the plane and special care is taken car in the plane as well

    in the first place, how were you two able to travel to new zealand? do you have valid passports? did you travel alone or with a group or with your parents/guardian? did you have signed travel clearances/authority from your parents? when did you arrive NZ?

    best resource information is to contact the US embassy there and ask for assistance.

    anyway, to the best of my knowledge, an american carrying a valid passport, can return back to the USA.
