1. good idea about library

  2. Values must be taught at home, with the parents setting the example . without proper guidance at home your child will not know how to act unless he/she is first taught at home by example .

  3. Ask a Librarian for help in finding suitable books on the subject, at your local library.

  4. I would say the most important aspect of communication is clarity.

Your question leaves out too much to be clear.

  5. Values should be taught at home. Public/Private schools do not have the time nor the resources to try to teach values - and they cannot teach individual ones. They can say lying is wrong, and is hurtful. For some families it is a sin, or dishonor or whatever. Cultures are just too different for all of this.

As far as mass media? Um, let's see - even the 'children's networks' such as Nick discusses s*x, and even the Disney channel has shows that have children obsessed with kissing and 'boobies'.

So values should be taught at home, reinforced in schools (if children are in public/private schools) and mass media should be switched off as much as possible!

  6. I definitely think home is the most important, unless of course you have a bad home life. School could be good if you get good teachers and mentors. Mass media is not a help because they are only out to make money and control people's thought processes, buying habits, and political affiliations. That is highly simplified, but I don't know how else to answer without rambling on. It's a complex issue because a person's morality and values system is complex.
