Important !!?

i heared that mars is gonna stop moving for two months starting from 30 july 2008 and then it will move again in a different direction. i just wanted to check if its true...

Mars is not going to physically stop moving. Please elaborate on your question some more.

That's called "retrograde" motion.  From the earth it APPEARS to go backwards, so they say that.  Doesn't really though.

That action is produced when Mars is direct and then stops and appears stationery. Then it moves backward in a retrograde motion for some time, stops again, and moves direct in motion. This is ONLY AN APPARENT MOTION and the planets only SEEM to move backwards.

Now , let me correct you on one point. Mars only stops 2 or 3 days before and 2 or 3 days after retrogradation.  This  happens once every two years.

Finally, Mars will not be retrograde In July 2008 since this already occured in Jan 2008.
