  1. This is the truth my brother.  Stop worrying about what you can bench.  You have one thing to worry about.  Making the team!  When you try out for the team there will be two things they look for.  How fast are you? and how well do you tackle?  Thats it.  Work on those attributes and you will most likely make the team.  Practice tackling and if you dont know how, find someone to show you that knows what they are talking about.  Weight training, if not done properly will slow you down.  Make sure you are doing twice as much stretching and running as weight lifting!  This is very basic but it sounds like you have the heart and drive to be a quality player at any position for your team.  good luck.

  2. WR if your team passes a lot

RB is you are quick enough if you are your size could kill there is a kid on our team like you for freshmen and he destroys

for Defense mabe line backer or DE

if you know the offense and your team passes be a QB

  3. real men play offensive line. Learn tackle, learn the technique and put on some 20 pounds, you can be a good athletic offensive lineman, if you have a brain that's a good high school center, if you have hands go play tight end, 135 times 20 is pretty good for a freshman. Your size can also make you a good outside backer. Too light still for the middle.

  4. OK I am a freshmen DC and we have been practicing for about 2 months and have a scrimmage this saturday and next and then our  first game. If you have not been to practice yet then you will be playing LE,G and tackle that means sit on the Left End of the bench, Guard the water cooler and tackle anyone that comes near it. Football is 365 dummy not just one or two months.
