Important retail question?

if I got fired from a job in retail, can they make me leave without getting my client list first? I was the third best sales person in my job but i took off too much so they fired me. They made me leave without notice. It would NOT be going into the computer and getting the customer list, just getting MY client list. help?

It doesn't belong to you if they were paying you when you developed the client list. If it was a list you had before going there that might be different.

And that is also a reason a company will ask a person to leave on the spot if they let them go.

i am not sure what company you work for and what the specific guidelines are but i can tell you from experiance that most likely you can not take your customer list.

i remember when i worked for various retailers, upon being hired they told me that the client list that i generate is company property and that i can not expect to have it when i leave, and i may not contact the clients for anything other than specific business at that specific location.
