Importing from Canada?

I'm looking at purchasing the part from the link below from Canada. I have asked the company to confirm shipping rates but would also like to know the import duties and vat? Can anyone help?

First it looks kinda cool.

I'd wait to hear what they say. They will be shipping it and should be able to tell you exactly what you will spend.

The VAT part is simple.  It will be whatever the current rate is for the product, including shipping and handling, converted to Pounds.  Import duties are a different matter.  You could contact the nearest customs house by phone or e-mail with the price and type of article and they will give you an estimate of the duties, or you could find out what shipper and customs broker Home Garden Decor uses.
