Importing music from CDs onto itunes.....?

Question

Ok so I have some old music on my ipod......what's a simple step by step guide to importing new stuff and putting it onto my ipod?

I know sorry but I'm a complete noob with technology!

[1]open itunes

[2]put in cd

[3]say that you DO want to import the cd when it asks

[4]wait for it to finish

[5]make sure the songs have been added to the 'music section'

[6] dont manually manage music(you dont have to)

[7]declare yourself de-noobed

[8]vote me as best (lol - you dont have to)

[9]listen to music

[10] (there is no number 10)

you put in the cd it should pop up on itunes transfer that to itunes then sync it with ipod
