Importing songs to iTunes?

Question

I buy my songs from another source but use iTunes to get them onto my iPod. Each time I want to add the songs to my iTunes library I have to keep clicking on the "add folder to library" button. Is there any way that the songs can automatically be sent to iTunes as they are downloaded?
