Importing to u.s from mexico., report.?

would you have to pass a fda test. what would be the steps of starting a small business importing some kind of vegtable. is all you really need is a license from mexico and from the us..

as you see i need help to explain what process would need to take place to import food from mx.

  1. Hi Esme. I will try to be very specific. I hope I can help you. I was working at a food company one year ago and I was trying to fix documents in order to export to US. So, the answer is yes, if you want to import food from mexico then you will need FDA documents and plus other documents.

    You have an advantage, you are in the us and this is necessary to fix many fda papers in order to import/export from mexico. It's very important that you cordinate with people who's providing vegetables.

    Another advice, be very , very patient. Formalities are very, very bureaucratic here, in mexico.
