  1. Always use the yes, and method.

This means that you never deny a scene partner's ideas.  Instead, you accept them and take them a step farther with your own ideas.

    -Good luck

  2. so what r u auditioning 4?

plz more info i cant just give u and tip without knowing wat ur doing.

tell me (additional details) and ill fix this up)

  3. As long as you remember the Ten Commandments of Theatresports, you can't go wrong:

    1. Thou shalt not BLOCK (don't say no or reject an offer from another team mate!)

    2. Thou shalt always retain FOCUS (The focus is the point of concentration shared by players and audience. If your miming something, don't stop halfway through!)

    3. Thou shalt not SHINE above thy team-mates (your not the only person on the stage, accept other offers as well as making your own)

    4. To GAG is to commit a sin that will be paid for. (making a joke just to get a laugh out of the audience at the expense of the scene)

    5. Thou shalt always be CHANGED by what is said to you (react! react to everything!)

    6. Thou shalt not WAFFLE (going on and on about something without advancing the scene)

    7. When in doubt, BREAK THE ROUTINE (Introduce a new offer to advance the scene)

    8. To WIMP is to show thy true self. (A wimp occurs when a player refuses to take their share of responsibility for the developing scene)

    9. S/he that tries to be CLEVER is not; while s/he that is clever, doesn’t try.

    10. When thy faith is low, thy spirit weak, thy good fortune strained, and thy team losing, be comforted and smile, because IT JUST DOESN’T MATTER

    I hope those help!

  4. well just remember the main rules of improv: never say no, dont TRY to be funny (believe me, it'll just happen), and piggy back on other ideas. Also, play to your strengths, so if you are good with body and facial expression, use that sort of humour. if you are good with lines or can come up with one-liners on the spot, use thouse. It doesnt hurt to have a few pre-planne dideas on the back-burner, just in case u get stuck. Good luck! :)

  5. Well, it's kind of hard to give you improv tips because improvisation really comes from you. Like, just use your imagination and like zander said, accept your partners descisions and flow with it.

    Hope I helped! :D
