Improve my ACT scores?

I just receieved my ACT scores for the second time and I got a 21 again!

The only thing I did differently the second time was actually studying from the book but that seems to not have helped.

Any advice to at least getting a 26-27 for my third test?

  1. Copying is good

  2. Look at your individual scores in each section. Amp up the studying on the lowest sections. Get more than one book, as some books are totally worthless, and some are incredible.

To get my education degree, I had to take something called the PRAXIS. I checked out something like 3-5 books from the library, and some of them were complete junk. Some of them however contained questions that were nearly identical to test questions.

Also, make sure you get plenty of sleep, eat breakfast that morning, and chew gum or eat candies while taking the test. There's a stress point in the mouth that relaxes with chewing.

  3. What were your 4 individual scores?  I got a 26, but only cuz my scores looked like this:

    Math 30

    English 29

    Reading 27

    Science 19........I SUCK AT SCIENCE!

So my advice is to try to get high scores on the subjects you are best at, in order to pull up your composite
