  1. Ok short version of what that other guy said.  For a slice, there are multiple things that you could be doing wrong.

    1) Open clubface at address

    2)Outside in swing

    3)Baseball swing

4)improper weight distribution (weight on your heels or back)

    5) Too weak of a shaft (this is probably one of your problems)

    6) Too much head movement

    7) Finally, lack of vision on what you want your shot to look like.

You have to visualize how you want the ball to fly first, then play for the slight fade just in case, make sure your head stays in the same position, make good ball contact, and trust yourself.

One secret that I have heard works really well is this:

Imagine you are hitting on a baseball field.  Instead of trying to take the ball straght up the midde, (which would cause you to hit a slice on your swing), try to hit the ball to left center field.  This sounds weird, but it does work if you have played any kind of baseball.  On bad days, try to take it to straight left field.  This ridiculous swing thought actually does help, try it...

  2. youve got a slice....put your big toe directly behind the ball

  3. practice

  4. More details are needed here I think. Does it start straight and then curve off to the right (slice or fade). Or does it travel straight to the right without curving (push). Depending on which it is, the solution would be different.

    Slice

The ball starts to the left or center of the target line and then curves right to finish to the right of the target.

    Checklist

        * Aim: Your clubface could be too open

        * Grip: Your hands may be twisted too far round to the left of the grip, known as a weak grip. As you swing through the ball the blade is naturally opening

        * Ball position: The ball could be too far forward in your stance causing your shoulders to open

        * Stance: Your stance may be too narrow causing your to be unstable and rely too much on your arms through the forward swing rather than your hips

        * Body alignment: Your feet, hips and shoulders are probably aiming too far left of the target causing you to swing your club on an 'out to in' swing path

        * Posture: You may be standing too far from the ball

        * Swing: It is possible that you are opening the clubface too early in your backswing and that your are swinging too far outside the target line which means you will not make enough turn in your hips.

    Push

The ball starts to the right of target line and continues to fly straight along that line.

    Checklist

        * Aim: Clubface not normally a factor

        * Hold: Hold a little weak but not usually a factor

        * Ball position: Ball likely to be too far back causing you to take the clubface back inside the target line

        * Stance: It may be too wide restricting the weight transference on the forward swing

        * Body alignment: The feet, hips and shoulders may be aiming too far to the right

        * Posture: You may be sitting too far back on your heels. Put your weight on to your toes more.

        * Swing: You are likely to be taking the club away too much on the inside of the target line. This means you are unlikely to be turning your hips as you should As you swing back at the ball, your club will naturally move back outside the target line, resulting in you pushing the ball out to the right.

  5. I assume that you are pushing the ball to the right....?  That being the case, you sound like you have a good drive most of the time.  You are probably not getting thru your drives that go right (coming out of the swing).  Don't try to hit it too hard. Relax your arms and hands when addressing the ball. Keep yourself down and extended thru the swing.  Keep practising that!  Things will improve.

  6. Usually if there is inconsistency in your flight pattern its an in-swing timing flaw. Pay attention to your finish position when the ball goes straight, and when it 'hooks' .. or 'slices' (slice is to the right unless your a left hand golfer).

Note the differences between your finish positions, pay special attention to your hips.
