  1. you start jumpin a whole lot. really, at home when your bored start jumping as high as you can. i did it and i can jump a whole lot higher now. work out your calves, as much as you can.

  2. bend your knees more and keep ur feet spread out

  3. get a book on plyometrics. The excersises in it should improve your vertical.

  4. You are still young and if you keep at it you will get better.

Check out this site ,if you have not already

    Have a good day.

  5. Stand on your toes one leg at a time for 30 seconds 3 sets squats and lunges

  6. Ok well just make sure your feet are planted firmly on the ground and your knees are bent.  Then use your arms to bring yourself up higher.  I'm a middle hitter on my sophomore team so thats what I do.

    Hope that helps!

  7. make sure you have the right angle, alot of power, the rihgt layup and be sure to strech you legs atlest once a day to lengthen your jump

  8. Ask your coach (or a personal trainer; some local gyms often have student rates to weight train or improve themselves and teach you the proper technique or way to improve.) to allow you to spend time in the weight room, doing squats and squat thrusts on a squat machine or at a weight rack set up for squats will help build your legs for better jumping, (make sure you have proper supervision, you can hurt yourself more than help if you perform the technique wrong and injure your back.)

Also you may wanna think about leg presses, calf raises, leg curls and leg extensions to help build up the muscles in your legs, the squats will build your legs and your back, but by isolating those other groups in your legs will help you that much more.

I'm in Martial Arts and weight training focused on your legs(*) will help in ways you won't believe! (*overall weight training is better though and will give you a more rounded ability to play)

As for the hitting aspect, hand/eye coordination drills will help you watch the ball and teach you the timing and accuracy you'll need for it. ask your coach to help you, he or she may have a regimen or workout drills that you can get into to improve your game.

    good luck.
