Improve stamina for skating?

im in juvinile and my 2 min program is KILLING me. im noving up to intermediate soon, and what are some good ways to improve stamina for the long program? and is a double axel optional or manditory?

  1. I don't know. I say maybe ask your coach for a little breather in the middle of the program. Or when you are practicing try doing the programs 2 times in a row to improve your stamina

  3. skate 2 programs back to back. put the music on repeat. start just doing one full runthrough and one runthrough with all single jumps. then move on. also do office endurance training.

    the double axel is optional. so are the triple jumps. infact you can probably have all singles but you wouldnt get a very high score.
