Question:

Improving 100m Time?

I'm a 15 year old girl, and my 100m times average around 15 seconds. I'd really like to get this down by a second or 2. Any suggestions as to how, other than doing more at practice?

  1. You need to work on your starting technique and running technique, getting out of the blocks faster (that if you are using starting blocks) will help your time and making sure that your arms are staying in close to your body and pumping straight ahead and not crossing your body and proper breathing technique and staying low out of the blocks  all add up to running faster, good luck
