Improving endurance?

How can i make myself able to run for a longer distance, for a longer amount of time? Usually I run/walk 2-6 miles a day, but I can't run consistantly for longer than 1 mile. How can i work on this, or do i just have to keep practicing??

  1. run 1 mile for a few weeks, then push yourself to 2, and so on


  2. Yes, practicing is exactly what you have to do.
