  1. Swinging a bat in front of a mirror or a video camera.

Also visualize yourself hitting in a live game.  More and more people have turned to this because it is scientifically proven that it can create muscle memory....do not do it in slow motion though. In real time looking through your eyes and from above like you are watching yourself from an elevated position.

Here is a link to some more info on this.

  2. No matter how old you are a tee is the best training.  It lets you work out any gliches in your swing.  Practice following through with your wrists.  Swing one handed as well make sure you have your body at the right arch and your legs are working with you as well and you have your hips turning.  You should be on your way shortly.  Also swimming is an excellent form of strength training and endurance.  Push your self and you will see results.  Nothing comes easy in this world.

  3. Get a hit-away. its a ball attached to a wire and you connect it to a pole.

  4. Hold a medicine ball, or anything heavy for that matter, and rotate your torso as far as you can each way a few times. and keep your feet planted and legs straight.

  5. hit off a tee...works so well
