Improving my mile time?????

Right now my mile time is 6:32 without any training at all. I really want to bring it down to about 5:30 by the end of the summer (early september). What types of training will improve my time? I am willing to run every day :-)

  1. u can improve by doing it over and over again. run as often as I'd like but push yourself a little harder each time and u will see results.


  2. You have to build your wind up so that running the mile is less of a challenge. Then you will be able to increase your pace as it gets easier.

  3. sprints! sprints gives you the agility to run faster. 632 is not that bad though. you must want to be lighting fast.

  4. Just keep training! My dad trained for a long time and did 3 marathons (He even did the BOSTON marathon) so just keep training every day. Try running at least 2 or 3 miles when you wake up, its a great way to start the day, well it works for me. I love running :)
