Improving sound system of pC ??

Question

i hav a 5.q channel speaker system...but still im not happy with the sound...i kno the speakers are good...but wen i play a rock song, the bass is not there and the sound does not feel good....how to impove the quality of the sound ???

go to computer shop and ask for sound blaster

maybe it has a good taste filter on it.
