Imran Kahn looks a lot bigger and muscular than his opponents when they should be roughly the same weight?

Imran Khan the boxer looks a lot bigger and more muscular than his opponents when surely they should be roughly the same weight how is this possible?

He will be the same weight as his opponents for the weigh in (the day before the fight).

What many fighters do to achieve this weight is to dehydrate themselves, weigh in correctly then rehydrate so that when they actually fight they are heavyer than the stated weight (known as cutting weight).

Its possible that khan cuts more weight than his opponents who actually lose the weight in more permanent methods, i.e. dieting etc

it depends on how much weigh they carry when they step into the ring... The weight limit is covered the eve of the fight but they can add weight after the weigh in but not in unlimited way..

But me and my brothers were saying that the other day, cos they were talking up a fight between him and Gavin Rees, prior to Gavs loss, but i said that Amir is miles bigger than Gavin.

I know a lot of money is being spent on him I.E best training, diet, coaches etc But i do not get how he can be the same weight as these guys when he is like 2-3 inches broader and taller than them.

Talking of Amir: His opponments have bigger frames whereas Khan has a smaller frame but is bulked up more.

I never heard of that boxer; however, there are a lot of diferent body types. For example there some lightweights who are just as tall and musculer as some from higher weight divisions.
