NASA is looking into the feasibility of building Anti-Matter Spaceships.

Dynamos made of Superconducting Rings from the new superconducting material (Iron doped with Arsenic), may one day block out "cosmic" radiation on other planets and moons in our solar system.

Edit: Flying cars in 10 years? Yeah right, in 10 years the price of gas and food will be your main concern. We already have flying cars and they use the energy of a small town. No one will use them except Al Gore when on tour to promote his latest movie.

Not that much different I think.  Even the fast pace of electronics getting better seems to be slowing a bit, and everything else is just improving SOooooo slowly compared to electronics that is seems like no progress at all.
