In 1999 what is the hurricane that hit NC the harest?

I'm fairly sure it was Hurricane Floyd. I remember this because I was living in Florida at the time and it was expected to hit there so my girls got a day off from school. As it turned out, Floyd barely brushed by Florida but went on to do a lot of damage in North Carolina.
