In 2007 did not Joe Biden say that Barack Obama was not ready to become president ?

So, what has changed? Does Biden believe that he will be able to guide Obama if he's there to watch his back? What makes Biden believe that he won't be iced out of the inner circle if they make it all the way? He's no Robert Downey Jr. !

  1. Biden is a democrat and knows how to flip flop intimately just like Buttock Obama.  Obama was losing this election now it's certain.

    McCain IS our new president.

  7. He not only said it, but has reiterated it several times and still stands by it the last time he was asked. Biden says some of the most stupid things and has for years. Like Obama was the first clean black guy. You know Obama didn't have a say in this.

Frank is right (and has my thumbs up); but, it's worth reiterating.  You can't be that naive about how the primaries work.  Everyone running believes he or she is a better candidate than the others.  So, of course, they will make the best case they can for themselves.  In the case of Biden, of course he's going to point out his considerably greater experience.  But each of the candidates believes that any of the others in their party is a far better choice than the other party's candidate when all factors are considered.
