  1. well no one gives a **** now, what makes you think they will care latter. Unlike the other person who said we will be laughing, we will be drowning. Already the affects are already becoming irraversable. By then the affects will be occurring. The sea is rising, and i live in NY, the traffic is terrible. And thats only one place. And one hybrid car is not gonna do it.

My advice, learn how to swim, or get a boat. And stock up on food.

  2. NO the data is bogus. With data that is that old there is nothing that might give a clue to how accurate it is.

  3. No - In 30 years we will look back on this and realize how silly it all was.

  4. In 30 years it will be too late.

  5. Unless something bizarre happens, like a whole bunch of volcanic eruptions, or if we somehow find a way to drastically reduce greenhouse gas emissions in the short-term.

Assuming AGW is correct (very safe assumption) and nothing drastic like that happens, it will be almost impossible to continue denying AGW.  It's really difficult to do now, and with the data and science advanced another 30 years, it will take some serious denial to continue rejecting AGW.

  6. No. 30 years ago liberals were screaming about global cooling. In 30 more years the natural cycle will cool the earth again and they will start with the ice age scares like they did in the 1970s.

  7. In 30 years Global Warming won`t even be a memory

  8. Let's wait 15-20 years and see. However we have an energy crisis NOW! So let's start building nuclear power plants-- wind farms-- solar farms-- geothermal etc etc--- NOW! We need to be attacking THE "energy" issue on multiple fronts all at the same time.

  9. no

  10. No - in 30 years there will be another environmental fad - such as "cancer snow" or "poison sunlight". The AGW believers will have forgotten about global warming and jump all over this new fad.

Just like with acid rain & global cooling, we won't even think about it. We will have moved on.

  11. Hmmm...a 13 year old gave one of the most intelligent answers I've ever seen in this category.  Maybe there is hope after all.  Thank you for making my day.

  12. It already is accepted by most everyone.

  13. Actually, in 30 years, we'll be back to the "normal" state of climate, whatever that means.  In any case, man-made global warming will been have shown to be nothing but a farce.

  14. not me cause im smart enough to know this is all a stupid lie to waste our money and time on

  15. It better be. Otherwise, we will all think we are idiots because we will look back and not believe the kids who took their free time and effort to make presentations to the communities. ---ME. Everyone should try to reduce carbon emissions because it will

    1. Save them money! Who doesn't like to do that?

    2. Give them inner satisfaction that they are helping out in a growing problem, even if they don't believe in it.

Gas prices were at 4 bucks a gallon. Since 2001, gas prices have risen from 2 bucks a gallon to 4. Just imagine, in 10 years, it could cost you 4 bucks just to go to the grocery store.

Look, just recycle, reduce, and reuse. Simple changes in your daily lifestyle go a long way in saving and changing our beautiful planet. The rain forests, the natural breathtaking beauty of the planet we all live in ARE AT RISK. THANKS TO THE INDUSTRIAL PROGRESS THAT HAS LEAD TO HIGHER GREENHOUSE GAS EMISSIONS.

Many countries have already made the initiative to go green. My hands are getting tired and I need to play outside because I am only 13, and if you keep polluting the air, then I wont be able to because it will be too hot. bfgvisjalbgbdjaifogsid bye. lol

  16. It will if the earth is significantly warmer in 30 years.

It won't if it isn't. Simple.

  17. At present, the majority (approx. 2/3) of the world already accepts global warming:

The trend is upwards - that is over time, the percentage of 'accepters' increases. This is doubtless due to the spread of knowledge (less ignorance) and perhaps, to a lesser degree, the dying out of the 'old fogies' - conservatives who are incapable of learning new tricks (such as Johnnie B here).

The short answer is: It already is so in 30 years, definitely!

    * I'm not sure that "most everyone" is the same as "majority" as that is slang that I am unaware of but I would guess it does.

  18. Hopefully it wont take that long for people to accept Global Warming since there are many points of evidence pointing towards it right now. But in general Human Beings are not concerned with a change that is not rapid. Like the example of the frog being put into hot water, the frog jumps out, but if you put the frog in cold water and slowly heat it up the frog will not feel the difference as the frog gets used to it. Usually it takes something dramatic for us "Humans" to do something.

  19. The last decade has been the coolest in 80 years. Looks like we really are going back into another cooling period.

So by the time 30 years roll around, we may be going back into another warming period.

    Who knows?
