language arts is more of a mechanical view of all languages, not just english. nouns, verbs, conjunctions, articles, adverbs, adjectives, pronouns, etc. english deals more with compositions and usage of the language.

no difference same thing just different names trust me.i had that class when i was in middle school.as you go on throguh middle school or high school language art will have different names like literature,British lit and other names.trust me i would know im now in college uga go dawgs
