In 7th grade????????

in 7th grade will i get lost going from class to class ive always been afraid of tht

Maybe only on the first day of school, that happened to me, but after the first day you know where they all are and you shouldn't worry about that. You are going ot be fine. Trust me!

Is your middle school fairly new (last 10-15 years?)

Chances are it has a pod system where all the 7th grade classrooms are in one section and you are narrowed down from the whole building as far as where your classes are. Even if there are not pods by grade level, surely they teach in teams -- where the same group of 100-200 kids or fewer have the same teachers for Math, Science, English and Social Studies. In fact the same teacher may teach both English and Social Studies for that team. That way you will get to know your teachers better and they will know you.

Don't worry -- the first week or two there will be teachers in the hallways helping you to find your classes. Even with a pod system you will have to venture out for PE, electives like technology or music appreciation, etc.

Quite honestly middle schools understand that the first days of 7th grade can be stressful and the teachers and counselors are there to help.

probably not. . . you'll get used to it. Remember, ALL 7th graders have the same issue. You'll actually get to enjoy changing classes.

haha. no you wont. i was worried about that when i first entered middle school too. and high school in fact. im worried about next year because i wont have the 9th grade academy.

but it always works out.

middle school was the best time in my life :]

Hmmmm i was always scared of that too, but once i got to that point, it was very easy ! Dont worry about it, everything will be alright!

No. Every year evrybody feels like that! U may feel like u will at first but u wont. Find a friend who has the same classes so u can find them together. Or u can always have a parent take u early to school to find out where ur classes are. I actually just came out of 7th grade! so if u need any help just email me at [e-mail]!!!

i can help.i was in the 7th grade last yea.the school will probably be big so they will give a sceduale of classes and you have to be there so do not loose your scedule you'll need it for the the 1st few days of school.i would also recommend reading american girl's- a smart girl's guide to middle and it talks about the ways to get to class faster and how to have the perfect locker.they also have plenty of tips you can use .glad i could help!!!

It'll be frightening at first, but you will get the hang of it. Give it 2 days. It''s just used to prepare you for high school.

chances are you will get lost, one of the things i did my 7th grade year in school was that i went to my high school (7th grade was considered high school in our town) and i got my school schedule and i went through my schedule and visited each class room in the order that i would have them in the day, it made my first day of school a little less scary and a little more easy

Well Umm..My First Days In 7th Grade It Was Fun But You Do Get Lost And Don't Know Where Classes At But The Teachers Will Have Signs Out With The Class Room Numbers But Your Going To Like It Cause Sitting In One Class Is Boring Its Like 45Min's A Class

7th grade is a lot different from high school. In high school, your classes are all around the building. When I was in 7th, there were 3 7th grade halls, and all of my classes were on 1 hall. YOur electives may be in really different places, but on the 1st day just ask a teacher and they will tell you. Once i got lost going to one of my classes and I  asked a teacher and she showed my exactly where my class was! Don't be scared it will be fine!
