In 8-ball pool, if you pocket the cue ball, the opponent takes the ball and puts it on the designated side?

If you are calling your shots, and pocket your ball plus the cue ball, you have to put that ball as close to the dot as you can get. The opponent place the cue ball, anywhere behind the line, on the side which you broke from.

If you make one of your balls and scratch at the same time...You than have to spot the ball you made on the spot...They your opponent will have ball in hand unless your playing bar rules and in that case your opponent can place the ball anywhere behind the break dot...
