In AP Biology Lab 11, do pillbugs prefer light environments or dark ones?

I tried this a couple of times and they kept going into the light. I used a flashlight and shone it on one petri dish, and wrap black paper around the second like a shield almost... and they still kept going into the light.. HELP? Thank you in advance.

they shouldn't like the light side, they usually like damp moist surroundings.
