  1. It really depends on how you want to play.  Since you're looking for for style/replica information than specific models, here's a couple ideas.

If you're more into CQB stuff, then get something smaller.  An MP5, M4, or G36C are good choices.

If you want something a little larger, the AK-47 and M16 designs are pretty nice.

I personally like my G3 SG1 the best of the 10 different guns or so I've used.  But I'm a really big guy, so the size fits me well.

  2. Actually, the best cost effective gun is probably going to be the G&G plastica, sometimes called the G&G Sportline.

There really isnt a best model, as different companies can make the same  gun, but with internal differences, etc. I use an M4 for outdoors and an M733 indoors.

Actually, and correct me if I am wrong, but the mini guns usually arent that fieldable due to the lack of a hop up. Also, JG and Echo 1 are not the same company, but that is a very common misconception. In the early days Echo 1 pretty much purely rebranded JG, but now they also rebrand A&K(M249), KART(M14 EBR),CYMA(Soc 16), and even DBoys now(SCAR). No one really knows who is making their new P90, but I think it is a gun that some company, possibly JG, designed purely for Echo 1, similar to the STAG arms. And these clones arent really hurting TM in the US, TM doesnt even really care now. They have the market cornered in Japan and I have heard that they are moving on from airsoft as their main focus. They were a model train manufacturer first. TM could probably have many more guns sold here if it wasnt for the 1 joule rule in Japan.

  3. If price were no object, and you wanted to totally dominate the competition, You'd want the M134a Minigun from Pipers Precision Products.

Here's a link. Click here to check out their site.

Make sure and watch their videos!

Of course, this gun also costs as much as a good used car.

For more reasonable prices and good quality, check out the guns made by JG/ECHO-1 (same company) They are Tokyo Marui clones with such high quality that they are hurting Tokyo Marui's market share in the U.S.!

Alex C needs to check his facts.

a)"Sportline" is a trademark of Classic Army , not Guay Guay trading company. CA and GG are different companies.

b)airsoft miniguns are not practical for most comprtirion, and I was not suggesting they were. They cost as much as a good used car. Can you say JOKING?

c)JG(Jing Gong), GB(Golden Bow - translation of Jing Gong), and Echo1 ARE all made by the same outfit.

d)KART, A&K and Dboys are NOT made by JG. According to the companies website,(if you have trasnslator software), the differences in labeling are due to specific lots being sold through different export houses.

  4. here's the one i'm planning to buy

  5. ICS has some of the best, licensed and trademarked AK and M4 series rifles.  You'll pay a bit more, but it will last a long time and it's easy to get spare parts and upgrade items.
