  1. this is an expression not an equation so u cant take it any further

    an equation would have something to the right of the = sign.

    sadly there are quite a few people on this site giving wrong answers :(

    the answer is -2x+6

    "=?" in meaningless in algebra.

  4. u get the varible by itself by doing -2x divided by -2x and get x and then 6 divided by -2 and get x = -3

  5. x=3 if  -2x+6=0

    -2x+6=0 subtract 6 from both sides

    -2x = -6  divide by -2

    x = 3

    If you're really looking for the ?, there's no way of telling unless you're given the value of x.

    If it should actually be -2x + 6x, then yes, you're right, it's 4x.
