  1. x is -24. do your math! it's just substitution

  2. well if x=2 then plug it in to the equation... it would be -3(2^3)=?

    so it would be -3(8) which equals -24

  3. pemdas

    order of operations so substitute the x value to get

    -3(2)^3=

    then do the ^3 first to get-3(8)

    which = -24

  4. -3x^3 when x=2

    = -3(2)^3

    = -3 ( 2*2*2)

    =-3*8

    = -24
