And what would you do in your own power to help towards solving crime on the streets and in The White House, drugs, poverty and if you could. If you really want this country to improve what would you do, because I believe things can start with the individual - then collectively. Realistically answers, please.

  1. I am happy. I have a small but relatively healthy family who I love and who love me. I have a job that i enjoy and I make enough money for myself and to donate 25% of my income to charity.

There are bad things happening eveywhere. Kids are using drugs because their parents are more concerned with themselves than their own children. There is poverty becaus so many people waste so much in this county.

You can improve your world by respecting the enviroment and the people around you. Stop being jelouse when someone has more than you do and be happy for them instead.

You life and how you live it is your choice and no one elses. You choose how hard you work to be successful. Life give use all situations how we react to them is our only power and it is how we react that creats the outcomes.

Event + Our responce = Outcome

We can not change the even but remember we can always change our responce.

    Good luck

  2. Execute Drug dealers. Not the mules who are hard up for drug money. No,  the Barons who live on Luxury yachts and live on the misery of millions..

  3. i'm happy because i've worked hard to get what i have. others have not and that's their own fault. we live in the best country god ever gave to man and everyone is guaranteed 12 years of FREE education -- they can make the most out of it if they prefer.

i really like the idea of drug testing for welfare recipients. similar to RJ's law in california check it out and the reason behind why it's called RJ's law. that could be a start.

your question really involves long lengthy answers. and basically there is no ONE real true good answer to fix the problems.

  4. Happiness only comes from within and cannot be legislated or forced upon others..

  5. no, ignorance is bliss

  6. We have the same problems here in the UK.

We need politicians who are dynamic, intelligent, committed, non-self seeking and who care for the people who they represent and are not afraid to do the right thing.

I would like to see politicians who have really proven themselves in other fields, coming into our political system.  Many of ours have never even had a 'real' job.  So how can they be adept at running anything?

    I like your question.

  7. I lived in America, both NY and GA.

It broke my heart to see so many double standards.

I left the States in 2004 and now live in Ireland.

I think a realist start to solving some of the countries difficulties would be to drive a smaller car. It amazes me that even people living alone drive such big cars!

Also to introduce a Welfare State system for the sick would help.

I had a dear friend die from cancer in NY because she couldn't afford chemo.

Stop the 'all for show' attitude and start to care for the citizens a wee bit more is what I feel the government ought to do.

    Thank You for your question.

  8. I think that one thing wrong with the US is that "the persuit of happiness" is a right granted. Well, isn't the persuit what MAKES the happiness? No one can just reach a final, complete state of happiness.

  9. Perhaps the beginning of helping others starts with helping those that are asking for help as well as working with them to stand own their.  Because helping those people has far better outcome of success then helping those that do not want help.  Then take the next step remember to take baby steps for this is something which is local to national then to global. It's just a suggestion.  The individual does posses great power.  Be faithful in the little things in order to receive greater things.

  10. Have you ever been anywhere else in the world besides America?

I'm sure there are a lot of people that have traveled to more than the 22 countries I've visited or lived in since leaving school at 17.

I can't name one country where everyone was happy and there were no social problems - such as crime, prostitution, drug use, inequality, poverty, homelessness, the rich and the poor..etc...

Realistically, what can you do as an individual. Help others, even if it's only a few people or families. If you are in a democratic country - know what the candidates truly stand for and vote for the ones that will help others. Be compassionate to those that are less fortunate than you. Treat others as you would want to be treated. Reach out and help people that are different than you (religion, race, nationality, gender, age, etc.).

  11. Sure I can be happy.  I am responsible for myself, not the problems of everyone.  I do what I can, when I can, for whoever I can.

  12. Discipline and strong leadership.

  13. They should be happy with all they have... start living in a third world country and you will see how great the USA has it and I guarantee you wont feel sorry for them.
