In America people don't know the Kebab! how it's possible?

i'm italian. In Italy there are three kind of better foods; Pizza (that is italian) Hot dog(that is american) and Kebab (that is arabian). How it is possible that only same american know the kebab? is it possible that someone want to hide the good arabian things?

They must call it something else.....In Australia, a kebab can be meat etc on a stick or a doner kebab which is like lebonese bread with lamb or chicken or whatever with salad & sauce....now i want a chicken satay doner kebab......yummmmmm.....

I don't know but even in Australia everyone knows the value of it. After you leave the pub with a gutful of beer at 2am, a Kebab compass is necessary to help you navigate the way home.

Please remember that unlike European countries, which are snuggled nicely next to each other, making it easier for their inhabitants to travel and learn about different cultures first-hand, the U.S. is absolutely enormous, and in many parts of the country, its communities are very homogenous and aren't affected by many outside influences.

I'm a Texan and make Kabobs (meat and veggies on a stick) regularly.  I am also Italian, so don't get so freaken upset.  If I were Chinese, I guess snake and scorpions would be on the menu!

i won't by kebabs in australia because i don't trust the hygeine of the people who sell it.
