In Australia, how much should a typical receptionist/office administrator be earning?

  2. It depends what you mean specifically.

    A receptionist for a small company may only get paid $30,000 - $35,000 a year.... a larger company maybe a bit more $35,000 - $45,000.

    Administrative roles are usually rather low. They may get $35,000 - $50,000 once again depending on the company and the position.

    Secretarial roles would probably get between $30,000 and $70,000.

    In all of these roles, the average would probably be towards the lower end of the scale. Average overall would probably be around $40,000, I would think.
