  1. chanel 9 only does wimbledon and us open

no french open idiot above me

  2. Channel Nine does every open excludin the Aussie because of the Cricket that nine shows

  3. Free to air in Australia showing the French Open? HAHAHAHAHAHAHA! A big gripe I have had for a number of years now. Once C9 showed the entire tournament (usually with delay), then cut to QF coverage onwards; the following year only SF coverage onwards; then nothing.

I believe the reason is due to it not being a good tournament for Australian players, so the lack of interest among the public at that time of night is minimal. Also I feel they would think that the public don't care to see long 5-set baseline rallies, ESPECIALLY as no matches would feature well performed Aussies.

A real shame as this is one of the four biggest tennis events and one of my faves. C9 even treat the US Open like dirt and only have only covered it from I think the QF or SF stages in the past two years.

Best suggestion is to get Foxtel. I know it costs, but one of my fave decisions this year. Getting fantastic coverage of the Masters Series events and seen a lot of matches during the clay season. The other major plus is the commentary team that feeds for Fox - fantastic. Way better than anything offered by Newk, Stolle and co on C9, and the over talking, biased morons on C7 (excluding Mark Woodforde).
