  1. Growth hormone deficiency causes decreased proliferation of the epiphyseal growth plate. (see attached article under hormones acting on bone tissue)

    P.S- Growth hormone does not have any effect on calcification of bone. The latter is controlled by other hormones viz. parathyroid hormone, vitamin D and calcitonin (last one secreted by thyroid).

    Increase osteoclast activity and decrease osteoclast activity aren't affected by GH

    Inadequate calcification of bone has to do with bone density.
