  1. If they s***w up they do, like everyone else. The scribe doesn't get rewarded for being a scribe at the end of training, well most of the time.

    Usually the scribe puts in more time and work because they have to draft firewatch rosters, take notes, make lists, and all kinds of other paperwork.


  2. The scribe does no less nor no more training than anyone else.

  3. As a scribe, you will be required to perform all the duties and punishments that are handed out to your group. The scribe is the group secretary, roster keeper, and historian. You will be an important part of your group leadership, because you will keep up with the paperwork that is necessary for your group to accomplish your training. You may be exempt from duty rosters, but that will be up to your instructors.

  4. Scribe does the exact training as the rest, except that he as that extra duty of being Scribe!  Don't forget he went to Boot Camp too, to become a qualified Soldier/Marine, not to stand at the sidelines writing everything down as ordered!
