  1. The equatral climate is much different and cannot  be copared to britain's climate. In fact the climate in different parts of the globe are from extreme condition to moderate condition.

  2. Of course no , not the same .

Temperatures near the equator are high year round with the exception for periods during the wet season and at higher altitudes. In many tropical regions people identify two seasons: wet and dry. However, most places close to the equator are wet throughout the year, and seasons can vary depending on a variety of factors including elevation and proximity to an ocean. The rainy and humid conditions mean that the equatorial climate is not the hottest in the world.

The surface of the Earth at the equator is mostly ocean. The highest point on the equator is 4,690 metres (15,387 ft), at 00°00′00″S, 77°59′31″W, on the south slopes of Volcán Cayambe (summit 5,790 metres (18,996 ft)) in Ecuador. This is a short distance above the snow line, and this point and its immediate vicinity form the only section of the equator where snow lies on the ground.

  3. No, the Equator doesn't have seasons.  Our seasons in the temperate zones are caused by tilting more toward and away from the sun.  When the sun hits us at a more oblique angle, we have winter, and when we are pointed more directly toward it, we have summer.

  4. Nope. That's why there are always tropical rainforests at the equator, they get lots of sunshine all year. Also why all the Canadians come to FL during the winter... it's not as cold if you're closer to the equator.

  5. No not really, there are milder weather changes, summer - yes, winter yes (but not the winter you think off with snow) spring and autumn no. Plants don't shed leaves but autumn will be a little windy that's about it. The temperature fluctuation range is very less.

  6. At the equator, there are no seasons. Equatorial regions are sometimes said to have a "wet" and a "dry" season. However, these are due to climate trends that are not directly related to the Earth's rotation, and not all equatorial regions exhibit any real seasonal changes.
