In COD4, does the steady aiming perk increase AK47 or MP44 accuracy?

In COD4 (Call of Duty 4) does the steady aiming perk actually work to mitigate the recoil of the AK47, making it a more accurate weapon? The reason that I ask is that it is hard for me to complete the AK47 challenges, along with the MP44 challenges, especially with respect to the 150-headshot requirements, because the recoil of both weapons is so strong. I was wondering whether the steady aiming perk has worked for anyone in bettering their marksmanship with either the AK47 or MP44.

  1. yes it works... im on like my 4th prestige, on one of them it took me 4ever and the next i put on steady aim, took me 2 days

  2. yes it helps acuaracy on all guns just not as much as on sub machine guns

  3. Yes I am Pretty Sure

And take it from me i am like the master of call of duty4 i play nonstop

  4. it helps with all guns and makes the aiming thing get smaller. but an easy way to get headshots is to go on a hardcore server and just aim through the crosshairs and shoot once for an instant headshot.it works with high recoil weapons

  5. This perk keeps your spray in a tighter vicinity then why you don't use it. You will notice that your cross hairs are much small. So it will improve the accuracy on most guns that rapid fire. It just keeps the spray in a tighter spot then when you don't have it.

  6. When i used it helped a lot, but more so for kills than head shots, but when my kills were racking up faster my head shots did too.

I would recommend it more for the Mp44 then the ak47, unless u really want to get those 150.

Overall it was better for the mp44

  7. It does help, but it is definitely not worth it. Get a better perk, I use Extreme Conditioning. But I run a lot so that's why it helps.
