We cant decide between those hotels. We want a resort that is all inclusive with a really nice beach that we can actually swim in. It is important that the beach not have too much seaweed! We do not want to be too close to a marina either. Any suggestions? Thanks.

  1. Hola.  If you stay at the Royal Solaris or the El Presidente you will be on the Costa Azul beach.  This beach can be hard to swim in, some days.  It stretches for miles and therefore the water comes crashing in.  I see people attempting to swim but some days are a little more rough than others.

If you stay at the Best Western or the Riu Sante Fe, then you are closest to the Medano Beach. This beach is very swimable, safe and warm.  This is the most popular beach in Cabo because of its location and is very busy.

p.s. you will not find any seaweed at any of the beaches in Cabo.

  2. Hello,

The hotels in San Jose del Cabo are all on one street.

I believe the Presidente is somewhat protected but not Posada Real or Royal Solaris. In Cabo San Lucas, the RIU Santa Fe we have heard complaints from clients in regards to the rooms so we moved them over to the RIU Palace.

The Presidente, Royal Solaris and RIU Palace have really good food. The RIU is about 30 minute walk or 10 minute taxi to the Marina which is close to the downtown area.
