In California, can a man older than 25, who has only a Learner's Permit, drive with a 3 year old in the back?

His wife is a licensed driver who's been in the U.S. for a few years now. He and their daughter just got here about 5 months ago. He passed the written exam, and he only drives when his wife is with him.

Is it okay that he drives with such a young passenger in the back seat?

  1. Yeah! As Long as his wife is with him and she has a valid driver's license.

    anyone else PLUS the licenced driver is OK.........

  4. yea as long as he is accompined by a lisenced driver in the front seat over the age of 21.  it is okey-dokey
