Question:

In California, how can I sell my car without a title?

My car was involved in an accident. It still runs, but the DMV wants me to put a salvage title on it. I just want to get rid of it, (but junkyards want to rip me off) To get a salvage title, I have to get a bunch of tests done on it, one being the lights, but the back ones don't work, and I don't want to fix them. Other then that, the car runs okay, but would be good for parts, or someone who knew how to fix a few things. Anyways, how can I sell it without getting the salvage title put on it? Is there a way to get around that? Maybe a non-op? I just want it out of here for as much as I can get for it, because I'm done putting money in it. Please help!!!!

  1. 1. call your local department of motor vehicles office and ask them.

    2. donate it and you can use part of it on your taxes for the next year.

    3. part it out and sell it on ebay, you can make alot doing it this way as long as you have a place to store it.

    4. good luck.
