In California, what if you can't afford to get car smogged& registration fees are past due+in collections?AND?

you can't just sell it because it's being financed by a finance company?

What would you suggest?

The engine won't pass smog the way it is and it seems expensive from what I was told ?

Why can't you sell it?  

Sell it off and use the money to pay off the company that's financing it.  

You pay whatever amount is still due on the car, and keep the rest.
