In Call of Duty 4 for PS3?

How does the bomb squad perk work? Do claymores and C4 glow or something?

You will be able to see a blue exploding sign with a skull in the center, it goes through walls and can save you from walking into blasted claymores around every corner

You'll see a skull and cross bone symbol in the area the C4 or Claymore is planted. similar to the one that you see when your team mates die.

it is a skull and you can see explosives from a little ways away and it can save you if your trying to not die
