In Callifornia, is that law that people born '95 and after can't get their license til they are 18??

is it real? i heard some people said they were just thinking about it, and others say it IS a law now...

According to the California Driver's Handbook, issued by the California Department of Motor Vehicles, you may obtain your learner's permit without prior driver's ed training at the age of 17 1/2. However, you may not obtain your driver's license until you either complete driver's ed (and submit the proper forms) or reach your 18th birthday.
