In Campaign For Presidency 2008?

I don't really care if you are under eighteen, or too lazy to vote. In your opinion, who is the best candidate for the Presidency? And why do you believe they would succeed? I think Barrack Obama would be a wonderful president because he has no reason why he wouldn't be. McCain thinks that just because he picked a female for the VP spot, he'll win all the Hillary Clinton Votes. But, in reality- I believe that McCain is just the same as George Bush because he agreed with pretty much everything Bush did. And, if you don't know, don't answer please.

I see Barrack Obama as another Jimmy Carter.  The thing that scares me and it scares the h**l out of me is there is a chance the Democrats will not only win the White House and both Houses of Congress but could get a filibuster proof majority in the Senate.  That would allow the Democrats who are controlled by the Far Left Liberals do to whatever they want.  I strongly feel that the actions they will take will set the groundwork for the destruction of this country.  The terrorist in their wildest dreams could not hope for anything better for them

There is no evidence saying he would be a good president either. All political figures lie and it will be no different when and if obama gets elected. The one who wins is just a better liar then the other. All Americans are to these candidates is votes and once they are in office they pretty much do as they please. But in answer to your question, i believe Obama can't be any worse then the ones before him.

Well, I'm under 18 and I live in a US territory so I can't vote YET until I move to the states but this affects me also. After 8 years of Bush (or McCain, same thing), I just don't think this country could take 4 or even 8 more. We desperately need Obama and Biden. Biden is great on foreign policy while Obama is good with the economy (something John McCain himself said he was not good at). We need a president who will help America, not another Bush.

The only argument the McCain camp had was that Obama was inexperienced and plus McCain belittled Obama to being just a celebrity, then he chooses a beauty pageant contestant who was gov. for 2 years. Let's be real, neither John or Obama are getting any younger and I'd trust Biden way more than Palin. And frankly I trust Obama more than McCain. I find McCain's actions hypocritical and contradicting also. But he must think Hilary voters are naive enough to vote for him just because he has a pretty woman by his side. I'm not saying he won't get some of their votes but I think the vast majority will vote Obama. This woman is no Hilary that is for sure. But John is desperate for the female vote, since he has voted against women's rights so I guess he had to do it.

I agree. McCain is more of same. His judgement is terrible. His main attack on Obama was that Obama did not have the experience necessary to be President. Now that he has made his choice for VP what is he going to say, "Experience really doesn't matter as long as you're a Republican. "

How could anyone vote for McCain. He's just a horny old goat that makes bad decisions.
