  1. Yeah.  I live in the Dallas area and I do my last fertilizer application around Labor Day.  As a matter of fact, that's on my honey-do list for this week.  I use a 15-5-10 general purpose fertilizer at slightly less than the package application rate.  The other two dates I fertilize are Memorial Day and Fourth of July.  


  2. im in ftw sept is ok but no later. nitrogen will make the plant grow and use carbs that are needed for dormancy.
