In Chess, why can't the bishop jump?

Because his hat makes him top heavy.  There's too great a chance of him falling when he tries to land.

if it possible, then in one movement your bishop can checkmate the enemy.in other hand in the begin of game white can notice : "checkmate in one movement"

I think the black bishop can.

But it is well known that white men can't jump.
